The levels are fantasy world locations with paths along which waves of mobs go to attack the player's positions. To fight them it is necessary to use the hero, a squad of his warriors, as well as towers, which can be placed in specially designated places along the roads.
Each tower can be upgraded by adding a floor with new functions. They can both attack the enemy with missiles and magic and heal allied soldiers. The hero and his warriors are also under the control of the player and he can control their movement across the map.
