The Realme 12 Pro+ is a mid-range smartphone that offers some premium features, such as a periscope telephoto camera, a 120Hz OLED display, and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It was released in January 2024, as a successor to the Realme 11 Pro+, which had a Dimensity 7050 processor and a 200MP main camera. The Realme 12 Pro+ aims to compete with other midrangers in the market, such as the OnePlus Nord 3, the Motorola Edge 40, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
The Realme 12 Pro+ has a lot to offer for its price, such as a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone also comes with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0 out of the box, which is based on Oppo’s ColorOS 14 and OnePlus’ OxygenOS 14. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and stereo speakers. The phone has a vegan leather back, a glass front, and a plastic side frame. It is also IP65 dust and water resistant.
