The player must lead one of 12 civilisations to world domination. To do so, the player will need to mine resources, build armies and improve technology. The action takes place in real time. Land and water troops are available. Each nation has unique bonuses and units.
World domination can be achieved through more than just military means. Each scenario has pre-conditions for peaceful victory, from extracting a certain amount of resources to building legendary buildings or learning advanced technology. In addition to ordinary units, each nation has its own hero with enhanced characteristics and unique abilities.
