8 in the Dark Dome series of games. The plot tells about a mysterious abandoned mansion on the outskirts of Hiddentown, which one day the main character named Darien decides to climb into. The mansion has been empty for a long time, but one evening it lured the main character with strange glints of light.
The gameplay combines exploration of locations and solving simple puzzles. Each level has a variety of items that can be placed in the inventory and used in the future. The old owners of the house were involved in occult activities and murders, so all locations are made in a gloomy gothic style and filled with various books, test tubes and other attributes of black magic lovers.
