The playing field is divided into two halves. Each opponent has one basic building on his half and can build all sorts of barracks, towers, and defensive structures. You can fight against the computer or other players.
Armies are a mix of fantasy and mythical characters from different nations. The units in the corresponding buildings are automatically generated and attack the enemies themselves.  A distinctive feature of the game is the large number of units participating in a battle at the same time. There are quite a few types of soldiers, including the traditional archers, swordsmen, and spearmen, as well as various magic creatures.
